Wrapping tutorial 1
I bet everyone agrees with me that giving a nicely wrapped present is much more fun than giving one which is wrapped quickly, ugly and in stupid cheap-looking wrapping paper.
So, from now on, whenever they ask you if it's a present, say you want to wrap it yourself!
It's ever so easy.
Here's idea one of how to wrap your present nicely:
See! It can be that easy, and it doesn't have to cost too much.
I've bought cheap but glamourous looking golden wrapping paper. From a huge pile of ribbons, i've chosen this white lace ribbon. The fake flowers are bought in some cheap 'i-have-got-everything-store'. Only €2,50 for a whole bouquet! And there are lots and lots of flowers to take off which you can use for your present.

Shoestraps
Bingo.
I'll just seam those straps myself!
And so I did..
I've fastened one self-made flower to one of the straps, just with a bobby pin, so I can also take it off. My apologies for my terribly looking legs. I must have been more careful while driving my moped..
Now I'm still looking for navy-blue coloured elastic band, so I can also make straps for my blue pumps. Then I'll finally be able to wear them with comfort! Really, those straps are so extremely comfortable!

In doubt
There are times in which you burst of inspiration, but there’s this lack of materials. Strangely enough, I have got materials to use, but my brains fail in giving me ideas on what to make of it. There are simply too many things to make out of a good piece of wood. Maybe I’m just too afraid to spoil it, and use it for crafting something I’ll never ever use in the future. I want to use this wood too effectively I guess. But nothing comes out perfect the first time..
Besides this dilemma, I’m doubting whether I should personalize this blog or not. I mean, should I put bits of my personal life and thoughts into this blog or not? I’m not fond of putting my whole life onto the internet, but it does give this bit of extra flavour to posts. What do you people think?

Easy rings
What do you need?
- Buttons in the colour/size you prefer
- Nylon wire
- Crimpbeads
- Optional: tiny glass beads
In fact, it took more time to find all the materials together than to craft these rings.
You can make them in every colour, to match every!

Source of inspiration
What to do on a free sunday, when all shops are closed, and there is no family or relative to visit? Visit a free market! All sorts of rubbish put together in a huge hall. Antiques, retro objects, second hand rubbish, new clothing, outdated furniture, food stalls.. But after taking a better look around, you might find valuable antique objects, in a perfect state. Free markets are a great source of inspiration. And a miracle happened. My mum didn't buy anything, nor did I.

Bracelets
Whenever I've got nothing to do, I start crafting little things such as these bracelets.
However, since I've got a dermal anchor in my right wrist, and a watch on the other, I never really wear bracelets. Is anyone interested in having one? If you prefer a different colour, I can make bracelets in almost all colours. Just leave a message with a request if you like!

To kill two birds with one stone
Simple but effective.
What do you need?
- Empty soda cans, preferably found along the road
- Wild flowers
- Paint spray leftovers
What a bit of paint spray can do to a soda can. I've killed two birds with one stone.
1. It didn't cost me anything.
2. I cleaned up the world a bit by using these cans which I found along the road.
If everyone made such vases, the world would be clean by now.

DIY Panda beanie
1. First you are going to make two pom-pons. Cut out four of these board paper rings. The bigger the rings, the bigger your pom-pon.
2. Tie two rings together and tie yarn to it.
3. Turn the yarn around and around the rings until the whole inner circle is filled.
4. You better do the last bits with a needle. The more the inner circle is filled, the firmer your pom-pon will be.
5. Cut the sides open.
6. Cut off a piece of extra yarn and tie it around the centre, just between the two cardboard rings. Then remove them.
For the eyes and the nose, I have used big sized buttons.

Panda beanie
Can't this cheaper?
I guess I'm going to make one myself.
Love this? Oh yes I do!
