Pretty accident

Isn't it pretty?
I forgot to clean up some stuff after making my after making my wrapping turtorial and yesterday evening, I turned on my Living Colors light after I hadn't used it for weeks.
Now I saw that I gave this beautiful colour effect on my wall. It really looked like an explosion of colours! Like I found the end of the rainbow.

note: you should really enlarge the photographs to see the effect.

Knock spot(light)s off.

I've finished it. The hubcap has turned into a light fixture! After cleaning the cap carefully, I've sprayed it with bronze coloured paint. The light fitting I've used was part of a ceiling light which I found at a thrift store nearby. Adjusting it to the hubcap was easy, with a bit of high-quality glue. Maybe I have to go for a white cable, because I this black one attracts too much attention, doesn't it?

Look what great effect it has on my walls.

Hubcap

A little while ago, I found this awesome hubcap. When I found it, it was all covered in black, sticky dirt. It rained like hell, but somehow I just had to stop cycling to get it. I was already soaked anyway.
I started to clean it, and a perfect Volkswagen hubcap came from under that dirt. I never knew it took so much time and effort to clean such a thing properly.
Now I'm busy to pep up this find. I'm planning to make a light fixture of it. As soon as I'm ready, I'll post it!

BTW, Does anyone know where to find a single light fitting which I can attach to the wall?
